CNY!
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!
haha havent been blogging for a while so i shall catch up with my blogging today. on CNY eve, went DB to escort a detainee out. it was a really interesting experience visiting there. after that, went for CNY celeb at HQ then went home. in the evening, we had reunion dinner and after that we played poker. was super lucky on that day and got lots of good hands like straights, houses and three of a kinds. within like half an hr i got a hand of three 7s twice. after my relatives left, my family did some final touchups to area cleaning.
the next day was CNY! (: however, the new year didnt start on a good note. i woke up feeling quite sick. had a mild fever and felt a little dizzy. still went out anyway as i figured i probably need to walk around abit and breathe some morning air to get better. went around visiting my immediate relatives and i was walking around like some zombie cos i kept feeling faint. my fever escalated over the morning and afternoon, and i kept feeling like i wanted to vomit hahas. i was also sleeping alot at all my relatives' houses. sigh, if i had those illnesses on any other day i would have easily gotten an ATT C lohs hahas. anw, my family went home in the late afternoon for a short break. i quickly took some panadol when i reached home hoping that my fever would subside soon.
in the evening, we went to my aunt's house for dinner. however, just before leaving my house, i suddenly had diarrhoea. bleahh so suay right hahas. and im supposed to be "fu xing gao zhao" this yr. right -_-" ok anyway watched "i do i do" at my aunts place and then played blackjack after that. my shou3 qi4 that day was so so lah. kept hovering around the break even point. won a little only hahas. one of my poor cousins lost close to a hundred though.
i felt much better on day 2. my fever was gone, and i was recovering from the diarrhoea. anyway, my family continued visiting a few more relatives. one of my aunts gave me 2 red packets - one for CNY and one for my birthday lol. it was only after she pointed out that i realised that my birthday on the chinese calendar falls on valentines day this year. later that night, went to my dad's friends house again and had another gambling session but without involving money hahas. guess thats about all the gambling im going to get in a while...
on day 3, my mum invited my relatives over for lunch. after lunch, played some games like connect 4 and mastermind with my cousin. hahas quite fun to play board games since i havent touched them for a while already. after that, my cousin went around exploring my room and accidentally drew on my laptop with a permanent marker. zomg. haha was quite pissed but thankfully my dad managed to remove the stain with thinner.
finally, on today, woke up and continued watching my dong you ji. hahas. its an old show but i found it quite nice so i started watching again 2 weeks back. didnt get to continue watching until today cos i was so busy. and thats how i spent my long weekend. quite sad that it is ending so soon thoughh... boohoo. how i wished the holiday would be longer. not in a mood to go back to work hahas
