more driving blunders
2 consecutive days of driving. today wasnt any better. still stalled once or twice. and i am having difficulties multitasking. have to look in mirrors, look at blind spot, and for me, i am afraid that i will speed so i keep glancing at meter. and when i do these, i will unknowingly steer out of my lane, sometimes driving in the middle of 2 lanes or almost hitting the kerb. another 2 near accidents today.
first one was when i was executing a turn. for some reason, i have a tendency to step on the accelerator while turning and so happened someone was wheeling his bike across the road. thankfully my instructor pulled the handbrake in time.
the second one was not my fault. i was going to stop before a traffic light and there was less than a vehicle's space between my vehicle and the vehicle in front and suddenly one car just attempted to cut into the space. the car ended up having to stop with half of the body in one lane and the other half in another lane. once again, my instructor prevented an accident by pulling the handbrake.
ok but at least today was fun cos i finally progressed to 4th gear and got to learn some u-turning. quite fast for a 3rd lesson huh. but my instructor wanted to teach me a few things at one go so that i wont be bored practising one technique only. i can like practise a few things simultaneously for the next few lessons hahas. think he is too used to teaching people with driving talents loh. for driving noobs like me he should really do things 1 step at a time hahas. :/
after driving lesson, took a bus ride to j8 then went to borrow some books. suddenly felt like reading some catherine lim books so i borrowed a few at a shot hahas. hopefully ill have some time to finish reading them all, since im going to clear off the next few weeks :D
