Just in Singapore
just watched the last episode of yi fang ban ting yi shui gang and i felt that it was the best mediacorp ending in a long long while. really, thumbs up for this show. i initially thought the plot was very lame and didn't really want to watch it. however, after watching a few episodes, i found the story funny and constantly pokes fun at real life scenarios in singapore. it is like a much better packaged jack neo show.
on to the last episode. every minute of the last episode was exciting. even up till the last 10 minutes of the show, the vat was still changing hands and the fate of the vat was still very much unknown. and every single family had their own mini conclusions throughout the show. there wasn't a single scene in the last episode that was draggy. right up till the final scene, even though that ending was expected, but they made the best of the ending and it didn't seem cheesy at all. it was also heartening to see that the cute weijie survived (: this is definitely THE BEST MEDIACORP SHOW ENDING for a long while and i regretted not watching the whole show due to my initial bias towards it.
*sigh* now i wont get to see much of fiona alr :P
on my aos day, i heard joanna's i love you on 933. haha im damn mesmerized by her voice! (: totally! :P it is a really nice version of david tao's ai hen jian dan. thk im recently very crazy over joanna's songs. in addition, my clerk also showed me a very sad mv which you all might want to take a look if u r free. he warned me that i might cry after watching but unfortunately i didnt hahas :P
