TP Tomorrow
i realised i had neglected my blog for almost 3 weeks already ): unfortunately i had been too busy trying to catch up with my driving, and i also got a few new shows that im watching on tudou, so i end up with no time to blog at all.
anyway, after rushing all the lessons and revision, tomorrow's FINALLY my TP! hopefully i can put on P-plates tomorrow haha. failing would not only mean that i have to register for another TP, but also have to renew my PDL and subscription with CDC. so i have to give all out tomorrow. still making lots of blunders today though. strangely i have never mounted kerb before until 2 days before the TP. and today i mounted kerb again. my instructor was quite pissed that i suddenly started having this problem. ):
i also keep forgetting important points, like where to site the car when doing parallel or perpendicular parking, and that i should stick to the side opposite the one where i am executing the turn when i do the crank course. bleah. i really hope i can get lucky tomorrow :/
anyway, i had been watching 我的野蛮奶奶 and 四大名捕 on tudou. i also found out that theres 洗冤录3 already, so im going to watch that after im done with 四大名捕. but before that, ill re-watch 洗冤录1 and 洗冤录2. haha. anyway, charmaine sheh's not in the cast of 洗冤录3 so i guess bobby auyong's wife in 洗冤录2 died again.
i got interested in 四大名捕 when it started airing on ch8, and i thought it was a pretty nice show, with lots of pretty actresses, haha. 铁手 is so lucky. got so many pretty girls falling in love with her haha. seriously almost all the actresses who hold important roles in that show (芙蓉, 黑蝴蝶, 独孤依人 and 竹桃 so far) are all very pretty. haha my personal fave is 独孤依人's servant, 竹桃, followed by 独孤依人 herself haha. sadly, i cant find who acted as 竹桃 online. but i found a pic of 独孤依人 and 铁手 (:

KBOX II
COUNCIL OUTING yesterday! (: Went for my 2nd kbox outing of this month haha. The package yesterday was abit diff frm the usual, but surprisingly cheap. it was just $17.50 FLAT without any plus-pluses. the package came with 1 drink + 1 finger food + 1 snack, which i thought was a bigger package than the usual 2 drink package. for finger food, we had a choice of nuggets / fries and for snacks we could choose chips / fruits. being very healthy people, we all decided to go for fruits haha. and they served a bowl of lychee and a pineapple slice.
when i reached there, only
kangya and
amelia were there, but more and more people started coming along the way. haha. i reached there about half an hour after them, and found out that they had already sang 2 songs which i wanted to sing - xiao tai yang and yang cong. nevertheless, yang cong is a must sing so i chose that again. cai hong was another popular song. alot of people who came in later all wanted to choose cai hong again.
wanted to sing na xie nv hai jiao wo de shi but it was STILL NOT THERE! guo jing's xia yi ge tian liang wasnt there too. hins' wen de tai bi zhen also not there. expected like better efficiency haha. wen de tai bi zhen and na xie nv hai jiao wo de shi alr out for quite a long time liao leh. mv also out le. anw, i sang all my fave new songs, including nicholas' cuo ai and xin ge shi chang. it was quite funny cos kbox will label the new songs with "xin ge shi chang". so when i chose that song, it was labelled xin ge shi chang (xin ge shi chang). HAHA.
kangya said i would give evryone a surprise each time i go kbox. first it was bu pa bu pa. then it was ren yi men. and my surprise of yesterday was HIHI BYEBYE. first time singing that song. really hard to act cute while rapping. really must give it to cyndi.
wes, xinyi, charles, guanghao and
darren joined us later and it was a really fun kbox session. the finger food was really filling and by the time i left kbox, i felt quite stuffed and didnt really want to eat much for dinner.
dinner was at MoF. i didnt knw a Ministry of Food existed haha. they served lots of jap food. i ordered cha siew ramen and it was quite ripoff cos there were onli 3 slices of char siew. darren also ordered that dish and we decided to check the menu (which had pictures of the dishes) to see if we were conned by the menu. but OMG guess what. the menu REALLY had 3 slices of char siew too. only finished half a bowl since i was quite full. but ironically i had room for dessert.
decided to choose mango shaved ice. had a feeling of deja vu eating the dessert since it was almost exactly the same as what i had eaten the day before (will talk about that later). the shaved ice was really fine though. and it tasted great. the dessert came with a bottle and a card telling me to pour the sauce in the bottle over the shaved ice to enjoy my dessert. after testing the contents, it turned out to be mango sauce, so i poured the whole bottle over my shaved ice and it looked like lava flowing down an ice mountain. haha. dessert was definitely more worth it than the main course itself.
after dinner, we took a group shot and began deciding what we should do. haha. sounds like what we usually do. everyone began crowding round in a circle and then started discussing where we should head to next. decided to go to macs, which was like where we went to the last time we came to this area. haha. anyway, the last time round we went to jacks place, and i clearly rmb
darren joining us but somehow he couldnt seem to rmb. ok. back to the story. so we headed to macs and found out that all the seats were full, so it was back to square one. evryone started standing around and discussing the next plan of action.
we finally settled on an area outside ritz, opp pan pacific. we then sat down and chatted for a while b4
chinghui,
yuxuan and i left. reached home like 2-3 min b4 midnight. it was really nice seeing the councillors again and i really enjoyed myself at the kbox + dinner session yesterday :D hopefully we can have any kbox + outing soon. for now, i thk i shd give my throat a break after having 2 kbox sessions on 2 consecutive weeks.
anyway, on friday, some of the RPs went to celebrate
jeremy's bday. we had dinner at bugis junction, then went to bugis street to shop around before we stopped at ice monster to have shaved ice haha. their recommended dish was mango shaved ice with durian topping. and they called the dish "liu mang bing" - "liu" for "liu lian" and "mang" for "mang guo". haha. thought it was quite a creative name. i ordered a SMALL bowl of liu mang bing cos i refuse to order REGULAR, as it reminds me of something bad. and the small bowl was huge lah. it was like twice or thrice my home rice bowl size.
the mango + durian combi was a sure killer for the throat, and i quickly drank lots of honey water when i reached home, cos i could already feel myself losing my voice. thankfully i didnt develop a sore throat the next day and could still go for the kbox session (:

claire's 2nd album is out! her first hit, xia yi ge tian liang is a nice shu qing ge which brings out the beauty of her voice (: another song id like to recommend is pin guan's 2nd hit, piao liu. according to him, this is his most K song in his album, and i fully agree with him. do listen to these 2 songs if you have the chance (:

KBox Session!
Went kboxing with
wenwei and
yongsheng on labour day! a few other people were *supposed* to join us but pangsehed us at the last moment. TSK. nevertheless, we still had a great time, and i got to sing all the new songs which i havent had the chance to K yet. :P sang lots of joi songs, YANG CONG and the new zhang dong liang songs (: we were also pitting against each other on the "tiao zhan ge qu". the challenge song was evan yo's "wo ke yi".
wenwei did quite a good job on the high pitch part of the song :P
after the kbox session,
wenwei and
yongsheng decided to do a little shopping so i tagged along. then
yongsheng wanted to challenge
wenwei to see who can do the best makeover for me. both of them wanted to "插手(我)的人生 当(我)的时尚顾问". haha looks like we didnt have enough of yang guang zhai nan dur our kbox session. anyway, we dismissed the idea and continued window shopping a little before
yongsheng and i headed home.
my voice was dead when i reached home (partially cos i had huge helpings of the snacks at kbox). i quickly drank tons of water, so that i could recover in time, cos the next day was a working day, and i still needed my voice to scold people haha.
on to today. went for my 19th driving lesson. circuits were a little less scary today haha. but i just cant seem to do perpendicular parking well haha. i always end up too close to one side of the kerb or not parking straight or stuff like that ): looks like i need alot more practise for perpendicular parking. less than 4 weeks to my TP. i am unable to change my TP date to a later one, cos the dates offered now are in august, and thats a reeeally long way to go. if i change my TP to aug, i have to renew my PDL and subscription with CDC. so it seems like im stuck with a do-or-die situation now haha. *crosses fingers*
