makan noobs II
on thursday, i had a really bad diarrhoea. bleahh. havent had diarrhoea for a long time and it was certainly not a good experience. after some rest that night, i felt a little better on friday. was really afraid that i would continue to have diarrhoea as i was guard 2 i/c that night and i really didnt want to visit the guardroom toilet the whole night hahas. thankfully, nothing of that sort happened, but i did have *quite* an exciting night, with lots of various problems to handle.
finally, the next morning, i handed over to the next guard 2 i/c and headed home. it was a long 1.5 hour trip back and by the time i reached back, it was almost 10. net-surfed a little before having lunch and going for my driving lesson. went for circuit, and it was terribly crowded that day. i waited like 10 minutes before i could actually try parallel parking zomgz. the queue was soooo long ok. anyway, i felt a lot more confident on sat cos i hardly made any mistake, and it was quite a good drive. i hope ill be able to get my P-plate this coming aug (:
on sunday, i went for food trail with the councillors in the afternoon. haha. met them at selegie road for tao huey first. after that, the drivers fetched us to our next destination, maxwell food centre. omg there are so many drivers amongst us, it makes me more determined to get my p plate in aug :D haha i sat in
charles' mercedes throughout the trail and hes quite a good driver hahas.
at maxwell food centre, we discussed for like 45 MINUTES before we ordered our first dish. woah hahas. most of the nice stalls were closed on sunday anywayy. then, this weird old man saw us gathering for a group shot and was shouting like: GOOD FRIENDS! GOOD! TOGETHER! then he was clapping and being very cheerful. then when we were able to take the shot, he rushed in to join us in the photo! OMG. haha. after that, he was like: TODAY IS A LUCKY DAY! LATER STRIKE 4D! zzz. later, he even went to shake hands with
chinghui and talked alot of rubbish with him. we were all quite frightened of him, and was wondering if he got aids. :S
after that, we decided to head for crab shack (after a really long discussion again). when we reached there, it was closed, so we went geylang instead to eat beef he fen. woah. navigating around geylang is a big headache. the traffic was super heavy, and even in small allies, the pedestrians just walk all over the place as if they own the streets. thanks to
charles for safely bringing us there! geylang was our last stop, and after that, i took a lift from
josie to orchard mrt then headed home. it was certainly a great food trail and i look forward to another one next time :D hopefully we will get to taste crabs this time.
oh anyway, on yesterday's charts, soda green unbelievably got a 2 x champ for their song. how is it possible that they beat elva's song to champs 2 weeks in a row. i dont really like either song, but elva obviously has a much larger fan base than soda green, so it kinda felt as if the results were rigged :/ between elva and soda green, id definitely want to award the champ to elva. soda green's pei wo ge chang just doesnt deserve it ): anyway, for yesterday's results, basically the songs of all those who came to 933 bao chang hui performed well. -_-" kinda sad how jam's shou cang crashed heavily, when it had a rather impressive achievement of being the fastest debut song to reach no 1 (tying F4's record).
speaking of shou cang, da feng chui sang shou cang today! haha all the teams peformed well or fairly well today, with the exception of SYNPATHY. i wouldnt be surprised if they got kicked out today. they just totally ruined jolin's ai qing 36 ji. the girl's singing was alr bad enough liao. THEN the guy joined in to sing the chorus and it was just pure hell. i wouldnt be surprised if synpathy gets kicked out today. they just havent been making the mark for the past few episodes. next week, id like to see wu ge ren get kicked out too. i was quite surprised they didnt get kicked out last week. im really cant stand those bunch of
kids already. :/ had a bad impression of them ever since they did the nv-ban-nan-zhuang-act. :/
