congratulations
CONGRATULATIONS to the Singapore Women's Table Tennis Team!
it was a long match and was a close fight right till the end. the game tested both the mental and physical resilience of the players. The Singaporean team managed to persevere and secured this important victory, which is an important milestone in our sporting history. Our win against korea meant that we would be getting our first olympic medal AFTER 48 YEARS! really proud of the team (: hope they will continue displaying this commendable perseverance in their finals, even though the world rank of the china team players are all higher than that of the singaporean team.
i was glad that i didnt miss the whole match. i went for some e-prep roadshow at maju camp today, which was like a sort of ORD talk, where they reminded us that ORD is just around the corner, and that we should really start considering what we want to do after ORD. after the talk, we were dismissed and so i got to watch the match when li jia wei was playing kim kyung ah. good job to the singapore team for putting up such a valiant fight!
HAIS! looks like im going to miss the finals this sunday because of class outing ):
by the way, heres some random info for those of us who had studied / are studying in bishan and knows about the "bishan lensman". i just found out that he went on papers:
